MOTORISTS are advised of changed traffic conditions on Towradgi Road at Towradgi between Memorial Drive and Carter’s Lane this weekend, as Sydney Trains carry out power pole replacements.
Work will be carried out from 6am Saturday 7 December to 10pm Sunday 8 December with no access for vehicles, pedestrians, or cyclists.
A detour will be in place via Railway Street to the north or Princes Highway, Bourke Street, and Squires Way/Carters Lane to the south to access the Towradgi east area. Motorists should allow up to ten minutes additional travel time.
Rail replacement buses will be in operation over the weekend with a temporary rail bus stop for Towradgi Station located in Carters Lane.
A free shuttle bus will also be in place during the closure taking pedestrians between Ocean Street and Carters Lane.
