
A POLICE investigation into the deaths of 29 chickens at Corrimal High School last month have determined they were killed by a fox.
Wollongong police responded to a report about 9.30am on Sunday 22 December 2024, that almost 30 chickens had been killed in the grounds of Corrimal High School on Pioneer Road.
A police spokesperson said due to the nature of the incident an investigation commenced.
“Following expert advice, police have been advised the chickens were killed by a fox,” the spokesperson said.
“There will be no further police action.”
