MOTORISTS are advised of night closures from this weekend on the M1 Princes Motorway southbound between Waterfall and Helensburgh for road maintenance.
Work will be carried out at night from Sunday 2 February to Thursday 6 February 2025, between 8pm and 4am, weather permitting.
Work will involve resealing the southbound lanes of the M1 Princes Motorway on a one kilometre stretch of road.
During work, detours for those travelling south between Waterfall and Helensburgh will be in place via the Princes Highway. Please note this detour route has a height restriction of 4.9 metres. Vehicles taller than 4.9 metres will be escorted through the work site as there is no suitable detour route.
Transport for NSW advises motorists to allow an additional 10 minutes of travel time, drive to the conditions and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.
