A MAN has been arrested at Bellambi following an alleged Fairy Meadow break and enter earlier in the week.

Police went to the unit on Meadow Street, Fairy Meadow, following reports of an alleged break and enter, about 8pm on Monday 10 March 2025.

NSW Ambulance responded and treated a 25-year-old man for a stab wound to the arm. He was taken to Wollongong Hospital for treatment – the injury is not considered life threatening.

The offender allegedly fled the scene, and Wollongong Police established a crime scene. Following inquiries, about 9.55pm yesterday (Tuesday 11 March 2025), police went to a home in Rothery Street, Bellambi and arrested a 21-year-old man. He was taken to Wollongong Police Station and charged with specially aggravated enter dwelling with intent to wound.

The man was refused bail to appear in Wollongong Local Court today (Wednesday 12 March 2025).
