ROAD repairs will be carried out on Memorial Drive at Woonona from Sunday.

Work will involve patching sections of Memorial Drive at the York Road intersection.

Work will be carried out between 8pm and 3am from Sunday 13 to Tuesday 15 April, weather permitting. Transport for NSW will then return between 8pm and 3am from Monday 28 April to Thursday 1 May, to install new line marking, weather permitting. There will be temporary impacts to residents and motorists while we carry out this work.

A spokesperson for Transport for NSW said every effort will be made to minimise impacts and complete the work as quickly as possible.

During work, intermittent lane closures and reduced speed limits of 40 km/h will be in place for the safety of workers and motorists.

Motorists are advised to allow an additional 10 minutes’ travel time, drive to the conditions and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.
