POLICE are appealing for information following an armed robbery and wounding at Fairy Meadow nearly five years ago.

About 6.50pm on Tuesday 7 September 2020, police were called to a store on Cabbage Tree Lane, following reports of an armed robbery.
Wollongong police responded and were told three men entered the store, when one allegedly stabbed the store attendant in the thigh before stealing cash and cigarettes.
Two other store attendants were allegedly held by the other two men but were not physically injured.
The three left the store, last seen heading south onto Vereker Street, Fairy Meadow.
NSW Ambulance paramedics responded and one man was taken to Wollongong hospital with non-life threatening injuries to his leg.
A crime scene was established and a police investigation commenced.
Following extensive inquiries, CCTV images of the men have been released who police believe can assist with their inquiries.
The first is described as aged in his late teens, early 20s, with a fair/tanned complexion but with his face covered with a black mask or balaclava; he was also wearing a black short-sleeved shirt and black pants.
The second is described as aged in his late teens, early 20s, a fair/tanned complexion but with his face covered with a red mask, wearing a black hooded jumper and black pants with a white stripe. He was carrying a black and white backpack.
The third male is described as wearing a dark and light blue hooded jumper with white stripes, and dark pants.
