
A MAN has died after a two-vehicle crash at Helensburgh on Saturday.
About 1pm, emergency services were called to the Old Princes Highway, following reports a motorcycle and a ute had collided.
The rider of the motorcycle – a man believed to be aged in his 50s – died at the scene. He is yet to be formally identified.
The driver of the car – a 26-year-old man – was not injured and he was taken to hospital for mandatory testing.
A crime scene has been established as Wollongong police commenced an investigation with the assistance of the Crash Investigation Unit, into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
