MOTORISTS are advised of changed traffic conditions on Lawrence Hargrave Drive at Coalcliff while natural disaster recovery work is carried out.
Protection barriers will be installed on the northbound roadside, just north of Bombora Way, to prevent rocks falling onto the road.
Investigation work will also be carried out on two culverts at this location to inform future drainage upgrade work in the area.
Work began on Monday 23 June and will continue until Friday 4 July, weather permitting.
Transport for NSW advises the work will be carried out during the day and at night from 9.30am to 2.30pm and 7pm to 5am, Monday to Friday, weather permitting.
During work hours, single lane closures and a reduced speed limit of 40 km/h will be in place for the safety of workers and road users.
