
THE Northfields Avenue pedestrian bridge will be closed for one day as part of the construction of the Mount Ousley Road interchange project.
The closure will allow the construction team to safely carry out a concrete pour and continue progressing work on the bridge.
Transport for NSW will be temporarily closing the pedestrian bridge over the M1 Princes Motorway for one day from 7am Thursday 3 July 2025 to 7am Friday 4 July 2025, weather permitting.
During this closure, pedestrians and cyclists will be detoured via the TAFE NSW Wollongong car park, Foleys Lane, University Avenue and Irvine Street.
Signage will be in place to direct pedestrians and cyclist along the detoured path.
