
A MAN has been charged with multiple break and enter offences after storage cages in a Corrimal unit complex were allegedly accessed illegally.
Wollongong police allege between 2.30am and 3.10am on Tuesday (12 August 2025), a man broke into eight storage cages in the Railway Street unit complex.
Following inquiries, about 1.30pm on the same day, police arrested a 23-year-old man on Jones Place, Corrimal. He was taken Wollongong Police Station where he was charged with:
- Break and enter house with intent to steal (seven counts)
- Break and enter house etc steal value less than or equal to $60,000
- Goods in personal custody suspected of being stolen
- Possess prohibited drug
The man was refused bail to appear at Wollongong Local Court on Tuesday 2 September 2025.
