
MAINTENANCE work on Lawrence Hargrave Drive will mean the closure of the road for one night.
The maintenance work, over three nights, will include road repairs and resurfacing, maintaining signage, vegetation and safety barriers, clearing gutters and drains and litter collection.
Work will be undertaken by Transport for NSW on Lawrence Hargrave Drive between Stanwell Tops and Coalcliff from Monday 10 November to Wednesday 12 November 2025 between 8pm and 4am, weather permitting.
On Monday 10 November between 8pm and 4am, Lawrence Hargrave Drive will be closed between Stonehaven Road at Stanwell Tops and Railway Crescent at Stanwell Park.

Detours will be in place via Bulli Pass, the M1 Princes Motorway, Walker Street and Otford Road.
Road users are advised by Transport for NSW to allow up to 20 minutes’ additional travel time.
Residents within the closure area will be able to access their properties at all times under the guidance of traffic controllers.
On Tuesday 11 November and Wednesday 12 November, stop/slow traffic control and a reduced speed limit of 40 km/h will be in place between Murrawal Road at Stanwell Park and Paterson Road at Coalcliff.
Road users are advised by Transport for NSW to allow up to five minutes’ additional travel time.
