
TWO people have died following a plane crash west of Bulli yesterday.
Shortly before 3pm on Monday (December 26), emergency services responded to reports of a scrub fire in bushland near Appin Road and Colliery Road, Appin.
Following a search of the area crews discovered a light plane. Two bodies were also found, and are yet to be formally identified.
A crime scene was established by police. Police are working with Australian Transport Safety Bureau (ATSB) investigators as inquiries into the circumstance surrounding crash continue.
