Night work on Mount Ousley interchange

MOTORISTS are advised of changed traffic conditions this week while night work is carried out on the Mount Ousley interchange project.

Work will include survey, vegetation removal, pavement and geotechnical investigations, utility relocations, and installation of signs.

Work will be carried out as required between 7pm and 6am, Monday to Thursday, from Monday 22 April until Thursday 30 May 2024.

During work hours, road shoulder and single lane closures will be in place on the M1 Princes Motorway between Mount Ousley Road and Northfields Avenue.

Additionally, the westbound lane on Mount Ousley Road will be closed between 8pm and 5am with stop/slow traffic control in place.

Stop/slow traffic control will also be in place on the northbound on and off ramps to the M1 Princes Motorway at Northfields Avenue and Irvine Street.

Traffic control and reduced speed limits of 40 or 60 km/h will be in place at times for light vehicles. Transport for NSW advises motorists to drive to the conditions and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.
