THE Appin Road has claimed another life.
Police are investigating the cause of the fatal head-crash this morning.
A 19-year-old man was driving a Hyundai coupe east along Appin Road about 7.45am when it collided with an oncoming Holden Rodeo utility.
The teenage provisional licence holder was killed in the crash.
The driver of the utility, a 55-year-old man, was taken by NSW Ambulance Paramedics to St George Hospital.
He is receiving treatment for internal injuries.
Police from Campbelltown and Wollongong and Traffic and Highway Patrol Command responded to the incident.
Investigations into the cause of the crash are ongoing and police are urging anyone who witnessed the collision or circumstances leading up to it to come forward.
