POLICE are investigating after a child is in a serious condition after falling from a window at Austinmer about 3pm on Tuesday.
Emergency services attended a home on Mountain Road, following reports a child had fallen from a second storey window. The two-year-old boy was treated by paramedics at the scene before being airlifted to Prince of Wales Hospital with a fractured skull and lacerations under his arm.
Wollongong police officers are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
