
POLICE are appealing for public assistance as they continue to investigate an aggravated break and enter at Bulli last week.
A man – wearing a balaclava – forced entry to a home on Owen Street, and began ransacking the property about 10am on Thursday (August 11 2022),
A 79-year-old man was awoken and confronted the man, who threw a drawer at the elderly resident, striking him in the head and causing an injury to his ear. The resident was then pushed to the ground, as the male stole cash and fled from the home.
Police were notified and established a crime scene.
As investigations into the incident continue, police are appealing for anyone who may information to contact Wollongong Police on 4226 7899 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
